Jane Witherspoon is Bureau Chief, Middle East for Euronews. Jane joined Euronews in January 2019 with a special focus on news and magazine programmes. She is regularly featured in some of Euronews’ best-known titles, like Target, Business Line and Taste. Recent public speaking engagements include hosting and moderating sessions at the Tourism Recovery Summit and the 6th anniversary of the Future Investment Initiative (FII) Institute in Riyadh, Dubai Future Forum, the Global Cybersecurity Forum, the Digital Wellbeing Summit at Ithra, Dammam, the 2019 World Government Summit and 2020 GITEX and Ai Everything conferences at Dubai World Trade Centre.

Prior to Euronews, she worked as entertainment correspondent for Sky News and news reporter for the BBC. She also conducted extensive work as a freelancer for ITV, Reuters, and Getty. During these years, Jane covered significant events such as the US Presidential elections, the London Olympics, and the Oscars, and interviewed numerous A-list stars, like Madonna, George Clooney, and Tom Cruise, as well as former British Prime Ministers Boris Johnson and David Cameron. Jane holds a BA (Hons) degree in Media for the Liverpool John Moores University.
