Please note: All attendees will be required to show their Valid photo ID & Swiss Covid App QR code via the Swiss Covid Certificate app, daily upon arrival, to be admitted into the event.
Do I need to be fully vaccinated or have a negative COVID-19 test to attend?
When you arrive at the event, you’ll need to provide your Swiss Covid Certificate App to show proof that you’re fully vaccinated against COVID 19 according to your national vaccine programme or have proof of a negative test. Please note that it may take up to 5 business days for your Swiss Covid Certificate to be approved.
Where can I get a test for return travel or if I have symptoms of Covid-19?

What are the latest travel restrictions?
To gain entry into Switzerland please review the following steps. Both the Swiss Covid Certificate and Entry form are required.

- Click here to complete the Switzerland Entry Form - Everyone entering Switzerland must present an entry form. If you are not vaccinated or recovered, you must also show proof of a negative test.
What additional measures are being followed at GAD World 2021?
Whilst measures are being relaxed by the health authorities, we would like to ensure our attendees feel confident as they return to attending our event events. To provide this additional comfort, we will are implementing the Informa AllSecure comprehensive set of enhanced measures to provide everyone who joins our events with the confidence that the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness are being applied.Click here to view these commitments which include:
- More frequent cleaning of high-touch areas at our events as well as hand sanitising stations and signage encouraging everyone to regularly wash and disinfect their hands.
- Minimising the number of touchpoints at the event by offering non-contact registration and reminders to maintain physical distancing where necessary.
- Asking everyone to avoid handshakes in favor of non-contact greetings and reducing the need to queue by staggering admission times and updating floor plans. One way systems will also be adopted in high traffic areas - ensuring you can move through the event safely and confidently.
Do I need to wear a mask? What if I am fully vaccinated?
Masks are not mandatory at events that are checking vaccination status or negatives tests. We will let you know if anything changes.
What happens if I cannot attend the event because I have COVID-19 symptoms, have tested positive or am unable to travel due to changes in quarantine rules?
Colleagues can be sent in your place or you will receive a credit note given to use against another event.
The standard refund terms are that you will receive a full refund minus a 10% administration fee, if you cancel up to 57 days before the event.
Will there be any tracking of participants in the event of a positive COVID-19 test result?
Yes, it is mandatory to check in to the venue using the SwissCovid app. Please see more information here.
What's the latest news on the new Covid-19 variant (the omicron variant)?
As of 27 November, people travelling from the UK, Belgium, Netherlands and the other countries listed here will have to quarantine for 10 days on arrival in Switzerland, so some delegates and speakers will not be able to attend.
Please check the website of the Swiss Federal Office of Public Health (FOPH) for any further updates on what may be a changing situation.
For those people now unable to attend we will automatically your transfer booking to the 2022 event. More details on the 2022 dates and venue will be announced soon.
