Amit Rikhy has over 25 years of airport development, investment & management experience & has led over 50 airport projects globally. He serves as CEO of CAG Holdings, Carlyle Group’s global airport infrastructure development & investment arm. Under Amit’s leadership, CAG lead the sourcing, structuring, development & financing of the landmark $9.5bn New Terminal One at JFK, the largest privately financed aviation infrastructure project ever undertaken in the USA. Since closing the transaction in June 2022, Amit is helping transition NTO to new management, managing airline & passenger revenue & customer experience. This includes creating & delivering a world-class experience for NTO’s visitors, passengers, airline, retail & catering partners. Amit has also been collaborating with NTO’s stakeholders in spearheading an efficient & scalable operating environment for airline partners, implementing frictionless passenger journeys through technology innovation, developing a world-class, New York centric experience in duty free, retailing & catering & designing sustainability into NTO’s commercial operations.He now serves on the operating board of London Southend Airport, UK, where he is working closely with airport management to grow passenger traffic, increase & diversify revenues & plan for future development.Prior to founding CAG, Amit was President & CEO of CCR USA, where he served as the lead board director for the transformation of Total Airport Services. Prior to that, Amit was Senior VP at Airports Worldwide & led the acquisition of TBI Airports, serving as a Director on all of AW’s airport boards, including Chair of TBI US Operations. In this capacity, Amit worked with each of AW’s portfolio of 10 airport management teams to grow their businesses, through additional air service, non-aeronautical revenue, & efficient operational & capital planning. His experience also includes leading airport development & asset management globally for Vantage Airport Group.
