Jens R. Lauridsen heads the Greenland Airports and has done this from 2012-2016 and then again from 2020 to date. The main task today being to secure the construction of 3 new airports with at total budget of approx. 700 million. EUR.

Besides the construction and making sure the airports become operational the task also includes merging the current airports and the new airports into one organizations.

Jens has lived in Greenland for the past 11 years being in charge of the airports on and off. In between the airports Jens has been technical director in Air Greenland a/s and Jettime a/s for almost 5 years. Jens thus holds a background from both sides when it comes to aviation.

Jens holds a B. Sc. in mechanical engineering from the University of Aarhus, Denmark and a EMBA from Copenhagen Business School.
