Jesús Caballero is CEO of Sofia Airport and a Chairperson of Queen Alia International Airport, Amman, Meridiam. He is an experienced professional in all the aviation related fields, starting from maintenance of the airfield, through coordinating airport operations, management of terminals, transport, relationships with airlines and handling agents, VIP lounges and more. Before his current position he was CEO of Seville and Melilla airports and also has participated in the management of airports such as Madrid, Barcelona and Málaga.

He is Aeronautical Engineer specializing in airports, air navigations systems and air transport management. He holds a master’s in business administration and management from Chamber of Business, Commerce and Industry of Spain, and completed in IESE Business School, University of Navarra an Executive Development Programme.

His current work at Sofia Airport aims to transform a public-owned airport into a modern and sustainable balancing between decarbonization goals and business growth
