Soichiro Sekito, who entered DBJ in 2004, recently resurfaced at DBJ Europe in London as Head of Corporate & Structured Finance team being in charge of European Clients and all of DBJ’s infrastructure, Energy projects in EMEA region. Prior to his current position, he was co-head of Global Aviation team leading EMEA airlines/lessors/European airports projects and aircraft investments. Previously, he was leading infrastructure and transportation projects in Europe such as airports, rail, road and telecom sectors as well. As to investment side, Soichiro got involved with cross-border investment, including VC investments, LP investments, and buy-out investments and served as an external director in the investees. Aside from his DBJ roles, he has experience having been seconded to ING Bank N.V., where he engaged in natural resource – related project finance (offshore, oil & gas, mining) as well as a leveraged buy-out. He obtained a bilingual (English & Spanish) MBA from IESE Business School in Spain.
