Sujata Kumar Suri is currently the Senior Vice President (SVP), Finance and Procurement at Hamad International Airport (HIA), Qatar. Prior to taking on this role, she was the Vice President- Strategy and Commercial Development at HIA. She is responsible for providing the strategic management of HIA’s capital investment program and leads the commercial and financial management strategy for HIA with the objective of ensuring the long-term financial sustainability of the business.Sujata joined the aviation industry back in 2008 from banking industry where her extensive experience in business planning and financial management has helped to bring a fresh perspective to Strategy and Development at various airports. With many years of experience within the fastest growing airports in the Middle East, Sujata has had the privilege of being a part of the evolution of the airports in the region, holding the positions of Vice President -Service Development in Dubai Airport and Vice President – Strategy and Customer Experience at Doha International Airport previously.Sujata was also the Chairman of ACI’s World Economics Committee between year 2020-2021 and is a regular speaker at major airport industry events.
