Ben has been engaged in the crypto space since 2013, when as a Capital Markets and Wholesale compliance expert at HSBC he was tasked with exploring the regulatory impacts of bitcoin. He has over 20 years of industry experience with tier 1 Investment Banks and has been full time in Crypto since 2017. Ben was on the founding team of Qredo with a mission to bring security and governance controls for teams using crypto in their operations. Qredo today helps over 450 teams, 85k individuals secure their crypto assets and provides a seamless way to engage with crypto. As of Q3 2023, Qredo users transact close to 10Billion USD of assets into DeFi every month.

In 2023 Ben spearheaded QSign Cross Chain control, a permissionless way for smart contracts to utilise liquidity from all chains and unblock the risks associated with bridges and third party wrapped tokens. QSign opens the current 1.3Trillion USD of cryptoasset liquidity to DeFi and is also being used to integrate permissioned DLTs into the cross chain space, unlocking the full liquidity of permissioned tokenised assets to public chain engagement.
