Christina Marcarelli is a Senior Investment Officer at the Massachusetts Pension Reserves Investment Management Board. Her responsibilities include portfolio oversight, manager selection and research for MassPRIM’s direct real estate, REIT, real estate debt, and timberland investments. Prior to joining MassPRIM in 2016, Christina was a Senior Asset Manager at Colony Capital, a global real estate and investment management firm, where she managed a 3 million SF portfolio of office and industrial assets. Her responsibilities at Colony also included acquisitions, dispositions and portfolio operations. Prior to joining Colony, Christina was a Senior Portfolio Manager at CWCapital LLC where she was responsible for a portfolio of highly structured commercial real estate loan transactions ranging from multifamily, office, retail, industrial and hospitality properties across the country. Christina began her career in real estate at LaSalle Bank in Detroit, Michigan where she worked as a commercial loan officer responsible for originating and underwriting commercial loans for key real estate projects aimed at the city’s revitalization efforts. Christina earned a Master of Science in Real Estate Development from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Central Michigan University. She also holds the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst designation.
