Ray Blanchette is an accomplished CEO and hospitality leader with more than 30 years of experience building and transforming some of the industry’s most recognized brands. As Founder and CEO of Sugarloaf Holdings, LLC, he leads TGI Fridays as CEO in addition to a growing portfolio of hospitality businesses dedicated to creating meaningful experiences, bringing people together, and supporting the communities they serve.

Previously, Ray served as President and CEO of TGI Fridays, Ruby Tuesday, Au Bon Pain, and Ignite Restaurant Group, where he drove significant growth, executed successful turnarounds, and led an IPO that was 15x oversubscribed. Known for his vision, empathy, and ability to build high-performing teams, he has a proven track record of increasing brand value while championing diversity, inclusion, and innovation.

Beyond his corporate leadership, Ray is the Founding Chairman of Dine Out for No Kid Hungry, which has raised over $200 million to fight childhood hunger, and is a Fellow of the Culinary Institute of America.
