Michael Koss is an Executive Director in the Mortgage and Asset-Backed Finance groups focusing on opportunities in residential home equity investments and less correlated markets such as residential & commercial PACE and litigation funding. Mr. Koss began his 25-year career at Lehman Brothers where he was an Institutional Investor-ranked MBS/ABS researcher. In 2007, he joined Scottwood Capital Management, a distressed credit opportunities fund where he was responsible for all structured finance and related investments. Prior to joining Nomura in late-2015, Mr. Koss helped incubate several bank regulatory capital and liquidity ideas at Spring Hill Capital Partners and Aegis Structured Advisors, which he co-founded. Mr. Koss earned a B.A in Applied Mathematics from Dartmouth College and an M.B.A from the Stern School of Business at New York University.
