Peter is a serial entrepreneur who started his career as a compliance CPA at Price Waterhouse before going on to found and run the Executive Financial Counseling and Private Banking Divisions at Bank of America and then Transamerica HomeFirst. HomeFirst was the pioneering shared appreciation private jumbo reverse mortgage company where Peter was issued the first patent for the design and securitization of HEI products. In 2000, Transamerica sold the HomeFirst portfolio to Lehman Bros. Peter provide Lehman the valuation methodology and support to secure a Moody’s Aaa bond rating for the first HEI securitizations. The last of these bonds closed out in 2014.

Peter’s current company, NatEquity, is a next generation regulated private shared appreciation jumbo reverse mortgage company with better shared appreciation product and GAAP compliant machine learning valuation methodology IP.

Peter’s 35 years of direct HEI market experience gives him firsthand insights into where this market will be successful and where it may falter and why.
