Blake Eger is Chief Strategy Officer and a Senior Portfolio Manager at Saluda Grade. Ms. Eger joined Saluda Grade in February 2022 and is the lead portfolio manager on its income-focused strategy. Ms. Eger has extensive experience in residential housing and structured credit.

Prior to joining Saluda Grade, Ms. Eger worked at Paloma Partners as a portfolio manager of structured products. Before that, she served as Head of Strategic Investments at Redwood Trust, where she developed and managed a strategy to source, structure, and deploy capital in investments secured by housing and mortgage credit.

Prior to Redwood, Ms. Eger co-managed a $1 billion fund at Structured Portfolio Management that invested in non-agency RMBS and derivatives, and their associated hedges. She also previously managed a $1 billion balance sheet dedicated to non-agency RMBS at Merrill Lynch, and began her career at Bear Stearns on the securitized products desk.
