David Schroeder is Head of National Sales at Newrez LLC, leading strategy and growth across Correspondent, Wholesale, Direct-to-Consumer, Retail, and Joint Ventures. A proven sales and marketing leader, David has guided teams responsible for more than $67 billion in production at Newrez, while collaborating for the launch of Closed End Second and HELOC products for sales team and digital delivery. He joined Caliber Home Loans in 2020, which was acquired by Newrez in 2021.
Starting as a retail loan officer, David has launched multiple call centers, was a leader with mortgage.com at the advent of Internet lending, and was on the launch team for one of the first to market pricing tools for wholesale at Decision One Mortgage. Prior to Newrez, David spent over seven years at Rocket Mortgage as Senior Vice President of Mortgage Services, where he helped build one of the nation’s largest wholesale operations. There, he launched partner-focused programs like inside sales, Pinnacle, and Flight Path, improving efficiency, engagement, and growth.
