Chris Spanos is a highly accomplished entrepreneur and executive with a proven track record of building and scaling successful startups. He currently serves as CEO of Riparian Technologies, the technology subsidiary of Riparian Holdings, and as Co-COO of Riparian Holdings, a vertically integrated real estate investment, construction, and management platform focused on single-family rentals.

Previously, Chris was the Co-Founder and CEO of Urgently (NASDAQ: ULY), where he led the company from its 2013 inception to over $180M in annual revenue by 2022, establishing it as the leading digitally native roadside assistance platform. His leadership attracted investments from major industry players like BMW, Jaguar Land Rover, Porsche, Enterprise, Verizon, and Allianz, and forged critical partnerships across the OEM, Insurance, Car Rental, and New Mobility sectors.

Chris’s entrepreneurial background also includes founding SeniorChecked, a digital background screening platform acquired by N.E.W./Assurion, and revitalizing AOL Local, turning it into a highly profitable division. Earlier in his career, he was part of the MCI team that launched the $1B+ “10-10-321” campaign and helped grow Louis Rukeyser’s Wall Street into one of the most successful financial newsletters in history.

Chris is also a creative force, having produced films featured at Sundance and SXSW, and co-founding Animators at Law in 1995, a pioneer in digital animation for jury trials. He was recognized as EY Entrepreneur of the Year in 2019, and continues to advise startups including as a Board Director of Resultid.ai.
