Tim Matchen is the product manager and data scientist for the Generative AI team at Roofstock. Before Roofstock, he received his PhD for work on machine learning with applications to Parkinson's and served as the machine learning expert at a satellite telecom startup. He has a decade of experience building AI-powered solutions for problems in nontraditional spaces.

In his role at Roofstock, he has helped build multiple customer-facing AI services and applications supporting both internal users and external consumers. In addition to inhouse development, he has also vetted and collaborated with third-party partners to further augment Roofstock's AI capabilities. On the data side, Tim specializes in statistical methods and modeling.

Tim's work is focused on bridging the gap between data and product teams, emphasizing the importance of data-driven decisions product-aligned analysis. His dual role at Roofstock empowers the AI team to build solutions with a high degree of confidence in the level of impact and quality of service those solutions will provide.
