Brian Harnetiaux is Senior Managing Director, Head of Asset Management for Affinius Capital and a non-voting member of the firm’s Investment Committee. In this capacity, Brian oversees the operations and performance for Affinius Capital and its investment partners. His duties include the leadership and strategic implementation and execution of property business plans, asset and risk management, direction of leasing and property management, and financial reporting.
Prior to joining USAA, Brian was Senior Vice President, Asset Management for McCarthy Cook & Company, leading the asset, property management and leasing effort for a 4.5 million-square-foot portfolio of Class A office assets throughout Northern and Southern California. Prior to joining McCarthy Cook in 2013 Brian was Vice President at Transwestern responsible for all aspects of leasing and management at MetroCenter in Orange County, an 800,000 sq. ft. Class A office/mixed-use campus. Prior to joining Transwestern, Brian served as Leasing Director/District Manager with RREEF Management Company where he was responsible for an office, mixed-use and industrial portfolio of approximately 1.8 million square feet, including MetroCenter. Brian oversaw all leasing and management operations and was responsible for creating and executing extensive budget and business plans while running leasing operations and completion of capital projects.
Brian was also the youngest BOMA International Chair and Chief Elected Officer in 2016-2017.

EDUCATION
Brian received his bachelor’s degree in economics, with minors in managerial economics and kinesiology from the University of California at Davis. While at UC Davis, Brian was a member of the Aggies baseball team.
