Profile
James joined Ohana in 2016 and serves as Partner and head of the Asset Management team. He is responsible for the operations of all Ohana’s existing investments valued at over $3 billion, maintaining and enhancing these projects through strategic business planning and initiatives such as brand selection, hotel management contract negotiations, development, financing, lease agreements and more. He also works closely with the Investments team to identify and qualify future investments and has served on the Investment Committee for Ohana since 2017. James has over 20 years of hotel operations and asset management experience, holding senior leadership roles with multiple prestigious hotel and hospitality brands such as The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, Dorchester Collection, and Club Corporation. James is a member of Urban Land Institute (ULI) as well as serves on the Executive Advisory Board for Carbon Lighthouse and the Industry Relations Committee as a member of the Hotel Asset Managers Association (HAMA). James graduated from The George Washington University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics.
