Matt Eckhardt, CPA, is a Director in Forvis Mazars’ National Real Estate Group with more than 10 years of experience providing assurance services to real estate and investment management clients. He primarily serves private real estate funds, REITs, investment companies, and asset managers, working with clients across a wide range of investment strategies and organizational structures.

Matt leads and oversees financial statement audits for complex real estate investment vehicles, including fund-level and property-level entities, and advises clients on accounting, financial reporting, and operational matters affecting the real estate industry. He has extensive experience working with private equity real estate funds, joint ventures, management companies, and other investment structures throughout the real estate lifecycle.

Matt earned both his Bachelor of Business Administration and Master of Science in Accounting from the University of North Texas and is a Certified Public Accountant.
