John Currin is a managing director on Northmarq's Multifamily Investment Sales team based in Charlotte. He joined the firm in February 2021, bringing over 13 years of experience in commercial real estate. He has been involved in more than $4 billion in institutional and entrepreneurial multihousing transactions across the Southeast. John covers multifamily and build-to-rent sales in North and South Carolina for Northmarq and has experience in all major Carolinas MSAs.

Prior to Northmarq, John was vice president of Multifamily Investment Sales at JLL where he spent five years on one of the Southeast’s dominant sales teams covering transactions in Atlanta, North and South Carolina and Tennessee. He also worked for Lincoln Harris and Ram Realty Advisors in Charlotte.

John holds a Master of Science in real estate from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
