Zak Blechman leads ABL Funding’s Correspondent and CRE platform, overseeing middle-market debt placement for existing and prospective sponsor relationships. Since rejoining the firm in 2025, he has focused on building the platform through strong capital relationships, disciplined execution, and an institutional approach to client service. Zak began his career with ABL in 2019 and has since facilitated $450+ million in RTL & CRE transactions. During and after his tenure at ABL, Zak spent three years expanding his expertise in CRE structured finance through boutique brokerage partnerships. He brings direct investment perspective through personal involvement in student housing, multifamily, and land. Zak holds a B.S. in Economics from the University of South Carolina.
