Harrison Schaffer is a Vice President of Design & Construction at Rudin, where he leads the execution and strategic direction of design and construction initiatives across the firm’s 4.7 million–square–foot residential portfolio. His work spans capital improvement programs, amenity and lobby upgrades, and large-scale redevelopment projects that modernize and reposition assets within New York City’s highly competitive markets.
With a background in both engineering and finance, Harrison is recognized for his ability to bridge technical execution with strategic real estate decision-making. His expertise includes zoning and code analysis, project feasibility, design coordination, construction management, and value-driven capital planning. Prior to joining Rudin, he held senior roles at Arch Companies, Akelius, and HUBB NYC, where he oversaw change-of-use, redevelopment, and renovation projects across New York City, with a focus on zoning analysis, project management, and capital planning to reposition assets in the multifamily and office markets.
Harrison holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University at Buffalo and an M.S. in Finance from Johns Hopkins University.
