Profile
Jack Tse is the Director of Development at Path Construction, leading deal sourcing, acquisition, financing, and execution of development projects nationwide. He believes that technical expertise, collaborative stakeholder engagement, disciplined financial structuring, and transparent communication are the keys to successful real estate ventures.
Currently, Jack is leading the conversion of 111 W. Illinois Street in Chicago’s River North, transforming a former Salesforce office into 153 luxury apartments featuring an outdoor terrace, fitness center, and large co-working and podcasting space. Acting as both developer and general contractor, he has guided the acquisition, design strategy, debt and equity financing and construction to keep the project on track for its spring 2026 delivery.
With more than 20 years in real estate, Jack’s career spans roles across three continents, including commercial development, land planning, engineering, and municipal government. Before joining Path in 2023, he led development efforts at Brookfield Properties in San Francisco, where he was instrumental in shaping Pier 70 — a 28-acre mixed-use waterfront neighborhood that included the adaptive reuse of multiple historic buildings, blending industrial character with modern office, retail, and residential uses. Jack earned dual Bachelor’s degrees in Civil Engineering and Finance from The University of Western Australia and a Master’s in Urban Planning from The University of British Columbia.
