Speaker

Profile

Jennifer Schultz is a partner at Nixon Peabody LLP, and Leader of the Nationwide Real Estate Development Team. Located in Nixon’s Boston office, Jenn and her local team have successfully led the development of over 10 million square feet of office, lab, industrial, hotel, and multi-family projects across Massachusetts and New England, with strong relationships and expertise in Boston, Cambridge, Somerville, Quincy, and Worcester. Throughout the Country, Jenn overseas over 75 development attorneys spread through 7 of Nixon’s offices providing a unique platform for clients who focus in multiple jurisdictions, as well as beneficial insight into the differences and similarities between major metropolitan development contexts and how to navigate the politics and communities of each one. Jenn’s practice is part consigliere, part yenta, not only advising and guiding her clients in active deals, but also frequently introducing clients and contacts to each other to help deals come to fruition. Over the last several years, Jenn has become a thought leader frequently speaking on office to residential conversions, recognizing that the historic use of a structure need not drive the future of that building, and that instead, buildings should evolve along with their surrounding communities and cultures. Her teams have worked on office conversions and other adaptive reuse throughout Massachusetts, Chicago, Los Angeles, and New York, with active projects in Boston, Cambridge, and Manhattan.
