Damon Healey is a real estate investor, operator, and advisor with over 20 years of experience across hospitality, multifamily, retail, office, and mixed-use properties. He is the Founder and Managing Principal of Eternal Companies, where he leads the firm’s strategic direction, operations, and investment activities. Eternal specializes in the extended stay hotel segment through both direct investments and advisory partnerships.
Prior to founding Eternal, Mr. Healey led the U.S. expansion of Brookfield Asset Management’s extended stay hotel platform. He built a $400 million acquisition and development pipeline and drove investment committee approvals, contributing directly to the platform’s successful sale to Blackstone and Starwood Capital Group.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Healey led a $1.8 billion real estate expansion for LIDL US, Europe’s largest grocer, overseeing acquisitions, entitlements, and construction across the Mid-Atlantic, Midwest, and Northeast. He also held investment roles at Jair Lynch Real Estate Partners, KeyBank Real Estate Capital, and Marcus & Millichap Real Estate Investment Services.
Mr. Healey holds a Bachelor of Science in Business and Finance from Oklahoma State University’s Spears School of Business and a Master’s in Urban Planning and Real Estate from the University of Michigan’s Taubman College of Architecture and Urban Planning. He serves on the Alumni Council for Taubman College, as well as the Owners Advisory Board for Suburban Studios, a Choice Hotels brand, and Choice Hotels’ Rising Star Program.
