Juan is co-founder of Alta Vera Global Capital Advisors, an independent firm serving Latin American families with significant assets in the United States. He advises across portfolio, private transactions, cross-border structuring, and succession. He was previously a Senior Vice President at Merrill Lynch Private Wealth and an Executive Director at J.P. Morgan Private Bank in Miami. Before that he spent more than a decade at UBS Investment Bank in New York and São Paulo. Born in Peru and raised across South America, he speaks Spanish and Portuguese. He is a graduate of the University of Virginia.
