Lilynda Stewart is a seasoned financial services executive with over 20 years of experience spanning banking, lending, wealth management, digital assets, insurance, and fintech. As a product leader, she has built a reputation for transforming complex challenges into high-impact solutions that drive growth and deliver exceptional customer value.
Lilynda’s career includes leadership roles at institutions such as Charles Schwab, Morgan Stanley, Wells Fargo, and AIG, where she has overseen product development, digital channels, marketing, and client experience. She has introduced several market-first solutions and consistently delivered double-digit growth through data-driven strategies and tech innovation.
Currently serving as Director of Home Equity Products at Golden 1 Credit Union, one of the nation’s largest credit unions with more than $20 billion in assets and over 1 million members across California, Lilynda leads the full product management lifecycle for the entire home equity product portfolio. She recently developed and launched a new HELOC product that has already surpassed this year’s annual growth targets and continues to exceed company performance records. Her product initiatives have propelled Golden 1 into California’s top 10 lenders for residential junior lien production.
Before joining Golden 1, Lilynda served as Director of Home Equity Products at Patelco Credit Union, one of the largest credit unions in Northern California. She launched the first ADU HELOC in California to help address the need for affordable housing alternatives. Through targeted pricing programs, retention initiatives, and operational improvements, she nearly doubled home equity line utilization and led Patelco to become the #1 residential junior lien lender in its core markets for three straight quarters.
