Profile

Nerses Aposhian, a Los Angeles native, is a Vice President on the Acquisitions team at IDS Real Estate Group, a Southern California-based fully integrated real estate investment, development, property management, construction management, and leasing firm. In this role, he supports the firm’s investment activity across industrial, office, retail, and industrial outdoor storage (IOS) assets throughout the Western United States. His responsibilities include sourcing and underwriting opportunities, negotiating letters of intent, managing due diligence, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to bring deals to close. He works closely with the Chief Investment Officer on strategic planning and serves on the firm’s Investment Committee. Nerses also helps with capital raising pursuits and contributes to leasing and disposition efforts across IDS’s approximately 40 million square foot portfolio.

Nerses holds a bachelor’s degree in political science and communication from the University of Southern California and earned his Juris Doctor from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles.

Outside of his professional work, Nerses serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors at the C. & E. Merdinian Armenian Evangelical School, where he has helped guide a period of significant growth over the last six years. During his tenure, the school has more than doubled enrollment, launched a STEAM curriculum, raised over $500,000 in donations, and completed more than $900,000 in capital improvements.

In addition, Nerses serves as a Planning Commissioner for the City of La Cañada Flintridge, where he contributes to land use and development decisions that shape the city’s future.

He lives in La Cañada Flintridge with his wife, Kathryn, and their daughter, Noelle, and remains committed to faith, community, and service.
