Scott Shalek is Principal and Co-Founder of Ridgecut Road, a vertically integrated real estate investment, management, and development firm founded in 2021 and focused on the industrial asset class in New Jersey and New York. He and his identical twin brother Eric Shalek have financed, developed, or executed on over $2.5 billion of real estate transactions over the course of their careers.
Ridgecut Road's business strategy is bifurcated between two investment approaches: acquiring and operating low-coverage industrial outdoor storage (IOS) and industrial service facility (ISF) assets, and ground-up warehouse and distribution development. Scott actively sources, underwrites, and closes acquisitions while overseeing asset management and development operations across the firm's portfolio in the Northeast industrial market.
Scott holds a Master's degree in Real Estate Development from New York University, providing formal training that complements his extensive hands-on experience in industrial real estate acquisition, development, and operations.
