Since being elected to the Clark County Commission in 2018, Justin Jones has had the privilege of representing the fastest-growing district in Southern Nevada. As a Commissioner, Jones has championed initiatives to create Clark County’s Community and Economic Development Department, revive and expand the Clark County Redevelopment Agency, adopt and implement Clark County’s first Climate Action Plan, advance transit-oriented development initiatives, increase access to affordable housing and mental health services, and expand Clark County’s regional park, trail and bike network. Jones also serve on several regional boards, including as Chair of the Regional Transportation Commission and Regional Flood Control District, Vice Chair of the Clark County Redevelopment Agency, and on the Board of Directors of the Southern Nevada Water Authority and Las Vegas Global Economic Alliance. Prior to being elected to the County Commission, Jones served in the Nevada State Senate (2012-2014) and on the board of several non-profit agencies. In addition to serving in public office, Jones is attorney licensed to practice in both Nevada and California.
