Responsibilities
Provide vision, leadership, and management to the organization that mirrors the mission and key strategic values of the company. Direct and oversee strategy, product development, construction, operations, sales, marketing, customer service, homeowner relationship management, First Equity Mortgage, technology, and financial services.

Experience
Prior to being named President in 2024, Tim was the Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President. In this role, he was responsible for Strategy, Accounting, Treasury, Tax, Human Resources, Information Technology, Purchasing, Operations, Legal, First Equity Mortgage and Stability Title teams.Prior to joining Drees in 2017, Tim had been with The Kroger Co. for 18 years and held various financial and operational roles. His significant previous positions include Vice President of Finance and Capital Management, Director of Process Change for Retail Operations, Director and Assistant Corporate Controller, and CFO of the Company’s Michigan division. Prior to joining Kroger, Tim was a senior auditor with PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Education
Tim has a bachelor’s degree in Accountancy from Miami University and an MBA from Xavier University.

Community
Tim served on the Board of Executive Advisors for the Williams College of Business at Xavier University. He was also Board Chair of the Investment Committee for Beech Acres Parenting Center. Additionally, Tim was a member of the Board of Directors at St. James Credit Union.

Personal
Tim and his wife, Kate, have three children - Brady, Reed and Maci.2015
