Bailey & Glasser, LLP partner Timothy ("Tad") Duree is an experienced trial attorney who guides clients through their most difficult litigation matters, including in the litigation funding arena.
Tad leads Bailey & Glasser, LLP’s Litigation Funding Disputes team, and speaks and writes regularly on topics involving litigation funding, including in the ethics space.
Before joining Bailey Glasser's Commercial & Environmental Litigation Practice Group, Tad served for more than a decade as a federal prosecutor, during which time he managed some of the Department of Justice’s most sophisticated matters and tried approximately a dozen cases. Tad worked for several years in the Fraud Section of DOJ’s Criminal Division, which handles many of DOJ’s most complex white-collar criminal matters. While there, Tad managed two health care fraud strike forces in the New York City area, oversaw complex international financial fraud investigations, and successfully tried an explosive case of police misconduct by employees of the Drug Enforcement Administration in the New Orleans.
Earlier in his career, Tad worked as an Assistant United States Attorney in the Western District of Texas. He also served as a law clerk to a federal district judge in the Western District of Texas and worked as an associate at a large law firm in Washington, D.C.
