Kevin G. Mims is a Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of K8H Ventures and Benchmark Housing Fund. Kevin is a serial entrepreneur with over 15 years of experience in Manufactured Housing. He also runs Affinal Real Estate Solutions, Gene Mims Investments, Clear Utilities, Lion Heart Equipment, and Deacon Baldy’s Bar & Food Trucks. Kevin graduated with his bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Northwestern University in 2008, while also being a 4-year starter for the Big Ten football team. Kevin oversees financial modeling, budget management, debt and equity, and the engineering of each development for Benchmark Housing, K8H Ventures, and Affinal Real Estate Solutions.

Kevin has a passion for providing dignified, affordable housing to low and middle-income families which has driven him to the manufactured housing industry, specifically the development and operation of communities where beauty, a sense of community, and affordability intersect. Kevin lives in the greater Houston area and is married to his college sweetheart. Together they are raising their 6 children who love sports, the outdoors, and family adventures.
