My wife and I are partners in The Firm, Inc. We started building a company that treated the employees with respect and empowered them to solve problems and get the desired results. This is a human business after all, and it is all about relationships.
While we do own several communities on our own, our primary business model is to partner with owner/operators and syndicators to revitalize underperforming communities. We are the boots on the ground and are in the weeds every day. We take tremendous pride in knowing that we are providing safe, attractive and affordable housing to thousands of families.
We have developed a team that is best in class in the community infill arena. All the way from lot prep to sweeping and mopping the floors to make the home move in ready. All of our employees are empowered to get it done as long as it is:
- Legal
- Ethical
- Moral
If they make a mistake and they have abided by the three items above, we have their back and we will all learn from it.
We have done community infill in KS, TX, IL, KY, MO, AR, OH, TN, AL, GA, FL, NC and VA. We currently have 9 HUD certified installers on our team, and we provide a turn-key solution to the infilling of communities.
Personally, I have:
- Served on the board of the BBB of Middle Tennessee for 4 years.
- Served as Senior Warden of St Paul’s Episcopal Church, Franklin, TN.
- Served on the Bishop and Council of the Diocese of Tennessee for 4 years.
- 25-year member of the Fraternal Order of Elks.
- 30-year member of the American Legion.
- Five healthy, productive children and 3 grandchildren.
