Lawrence J. Hoffman, CPA, started his career with PWC in Washington, D.C. He founded his own firm in 1982, which grew in seven years to a Top 25 firm in the Washington D.C. area. LJH & Associates, CPAs & Advisors, is a certified public accounting and advisory firm serving clients principally based in the mid-Atlantic region, and nationally and internationally. He is also a member and Chief Financial Officer of MH Estates Capital Partners LLC, a real estate investment company that focuses on acquiring, developing, operating and selling manufactured home communities principally in the Southeast and southern Midwest regions of the United States.

The firm has extensive experience in the real estate and construction industry working with residential and commercial real estate operators and developers, property management and leasing, and general and specialty contractors. The firm also works with investors, family offices, syndicators and investment funds involved in residential and commercial real estate, including single asset income producing properties, multi-unit commercial and residential developments, manufactured home communities, multi-use projects, land development and speculation, and high-end custom home builders. Special advisory services include entity formation, structuring transactions, syndications, mergers and acquisitions including due diligence services, public and private debt and equity offerings, troubled business restructuring, valuations, litigation support and other forensic accounting services.

Lawrence has been over his career and continues to be an owner and investor in various real estate ventures, including commercial office buildings, shopping centers, flex warehouses, manufactured home communities, residential housing, developed and undeveloped land, and understands the unique aspects of real estate owners, syndicators, fund managers and investors. He has also been involved in and advised on numerous syndications of properties and investment funds. Lawrence previously owned an investment bank that focused on real estate, start-up and emerging business. The investment bank also formed and managed various venture capital and private equity funds along with numerous syndications and private placement of equity and debt. Lawrence formally held FINRA Series 7, 24, and 63 licenses.

With an impressive array of certifications and licenses, his dedication to professional development and academic achievements, holding degrees from Mount St. Mary's University, Stetson University, and Southern New Hampshire University, and his decades of experience, Lawrence's expertise is unparalleled. He has also taught as an assistant professor at the various universities and is a frequent speaker, lecturer and instructor with various professional and educational organizations.
