Dan Lane joined Verus Mortgage Capital in 2017 and has over 25 years of mortgage finance experience. His primary responsibility at Verus is leading the credit and compliance operations group in whole loans acquisition. Dan began his career as a residential home loan underwriter with Wells Fargo. He later joined GMAC ResCap as an Investor Dilligence and Compliance Manager, where he was responsible for managing whole diligences and processes and implementing regulatory compliance dilligence process and procedures. Immediately prior to joining Verus, he was Senior Vice President of Underwriting and Compliance for Two Harbors Investment Corp. where he managed the whole loan acquisition process. Dan graduated from Metropolitan State Univerity, with an individualized B.A. in Urban Planning and Design.
