Managing Director, U.S. RMBS at S&P Global Ratings

James Taylor is a Managing Director in the Structured Finance Ratings practice at S&P Global Ratings, where he serves as an Analytical Manager in the U.S. Residential Mortgage-Backed Securities (RMBS) group. In this role, he leads a team responsible for the analysis and surveillance of more than 15,000 U.S. RMBS ratings. James also oversees a separate team of analysts responsible for cash flow modeling across a range of secured and unsecured consumer asset-backed securities.

In addition to his analytical responsibilities, James partners closely with the data and technology teams within S&P Global Ratings to develop platforms and strategic solutions that support the analytical practice. This includes advancing the integration of data-driven tools and AI-enabled capabilities to enhance analytical workflows and strengthen credit analysis.

James joined S&P Global Ratings in 2005 and holds a B.A. in Finance from Marist College.
