Matt brings deep experience across portfolio management and trading, securitization, finance, origination, and servicing, with particular expertise in residential mortgages and consumer assets, as well as the data and technology that underpin them. He was Co-Founder of Galton Capital Group, a $2.0 billion RMBS and ABS hedge fund, and of Galton Funding, a residential whole-loan conduit. Earlier in his career, Matt served as Managing Director and Head of Residential Mortgage Banking, Securitization, and Finance at Merrill Lynch, and held capital markets leadership roles at JPMorgan and Chase. He is an Independent Trustee of the Rithm Perpetual Life Residential Trust and an advisor to Livegage and EquiFi.
