Profile

Carla Sevilla is a real estate developer, broker, and investor with more than two decades of experience in residential real estate, new construction, and rental housing operations across North Carolina’s rapidly growing Triangle and Triad regions. She is ta Partner and Broker-in-Charge of Glenwood Homes and the Founder of Chanticleer Properties Triangle, where she focuses on residential development, investment property acquisition, and boutique property management services.

Carla began her career in real estate in 2001 while serving in the United States Marine Corps, helping fellow officers and military families purchase homes while stationed at Camp Pendleton, California. After completing her military service—including deployment during Operation Iraqi Freedom—she pursued real estate full time and further strengthened her business and financial expertise while attending the MBA program at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill on a full fellowship.

Through her companies, Carla oversees a vertically integrated platform spanning land acquisition, ground-up residential development, brokerage, property management, and rental portfolio operations. Her work includes developing and marketing new residential communities throughout North Carolina, as well as managing and optimizing investment properties for private owners and institutional partners. She and her team have completed hundreds of transactions and manage over 1000 homes across a wide range of price points and housing types.

Carla is particularly focused on innovative housing solutions in high-growth markets, including the evolving role of build-to-rent communities, small-to-mid-scale residential development, and strategies that enable local builders and investors to compete in an increasingly institutionalized housing landscape.

Based in Raleigh, North Carolina, Carla brings a unique perspective that bridges development, brokerage, and long-term rental asset management—allowing her to identify emerging opportunities in residential housing supply and investment.
