Curtis Lawson is the Principal and Visionary of Crafted Custom Homes, a design-forward, high-performance custom home builder and remodeler serving the Greater Houston area. Since founding the company in 2004, Curtis has focused on building better homes through strong systems, clear communication, and a commitment to building science and long-term durability.

In addition to Crafted, Curtis leads Shepherd Construction Advisors, where he provides construction consulting, expert witness support, and forensic services. Curtis also coaches and advises other builders through peer groups and one-on-one work, helping construction business owners strengthen leadership, improve operational discipline, and build more profitable, predictable companies.

Curtis hosts the *Your Project Shepherd Podcast*, helping homeowners and industry professionals make smarter decisions and avoid costly construction pitfalls. He serves on the Custom Builders Council board for the Greater Houston Builders Association and is active on its Government Affairs Committee.
