Brian Cutrell

Brian Cutrell is Director of Investments for Flagship Capital Partners. Cutrell joined Flagship in 2021 and is responsible for generating debt and equity investment production and deal flow.

Prior to joining Flagship, Cutrell worked at ExxonMobil for 10 years, holding a variety of Project Controls and Construction Management positions. He worked on major capital projects, with assignments in France, Papua New Guinea, Canada, and Kazakhstan. Prior to Exxon, Cutrell was an avionics engineer on the A-10 in the US Air Force, attaining the rank of Captain.

A native of Pittsburgh, PA, Cutrell is a graduate of Bucknell University with a degree in Electrical Engineering. He completed his MBA with a real estate concentration and MS Finance degree, both from the University of Houston, where he was also President of the Graduate Real Estate Club. Cutrell lives in the Spring Valley neighborhood of Houston with his wife, Kim, and their two daughters.
