Jariel Bortnick is a co-founder and principal of Quad Property Group, a real estate investment firm that specializes in the ownership, redevelopment and management of multifamily property in the Sunbelt and Midwest. The firm has acquired approximately 3,500 apartment units to date and its current portfolio has in excess of 2,000 apartment units.
Before founding Quad Property Group, Jariel practiced real estate law in the New York office of Blank Rome LLP, an international law firm with over 500 attorneys. Prior to Blank Rome, he served as Vice President of Gladstone Development Corp., a Greenwich, Connecticut-based real estate private equity firm that owns and operates a large portfolio of commercial real estate. Jariel started his career as an associate in the real estate department of Bilzin Sumberg LLP, a prominent Miami-based law firm.
Jariel graduated from The University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor’s degree in Urban Studies and received a Juris Doctor from the University of Florida’s law school. He grew up in Boca Raton, Florida and now lives in Short Hills, New Jersey with his wife and two daughters.
