Scott Mehlman brings more than 15 years of real estate finance, acquisitions, and asset management experience to Forman Capital. As the firm’s Partner and Chief Investment Officer, Scott is trusted with executing the firm’s overall investment strategy and overseeing all company investments. Prior to joining Forman Capital, Scott was a Vice President of Origination for the JV between Forman Capital and a Canadian asset management firm, where he was responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and managing nearly $1 billion in financing throughout the capital stack. Throughout his career he has acquired, managed and/or divested more than 15,000 residential units. Scott earned his degree from the Kenan-Flagler School of Business at the University of North Carolina--Chapel Hill.
