Adrienne Bain leads the origination and recapitalization efforts for JPI Companies, which includes identifying, sourcing and advising on debt and equity capital for multifamily investment opportunities totaling over $2B. Prior to JPI, Ms. Bain was a senior vice president at Citizens Bank, N.A. and a vice president at Wells Fargo Bank, N.A. She boasts over 20 years of experience in commercial real estate finance and capital markets.

JPI invests, develops and builds in select markets in Texas and California. The company’s hands-on approach is reinforced by its deep engagement in the communities it serves. JPI is vertically integrated throughout the real estate investment life cycle. It has been a market leader for over three decades in the multifamily industry and stands behind its mission to build what matters.

In addition to her role at JPI, Ms. Bain chairs the board of directors for the North Carolina A&T Real Estate

Foundation and the ULI Charlotte district Women’s Leadership Initiative. She sits on the Commercial Real Estate Diversity Equity and Inclusion Advisory Board, the ULI Charlotte district capital markets council and served on the jury for the 2024 ULI Hines Student Competition and the Real Estate Executive Council 2024 spring meeting planning committee. She previously served on the boards for CREW Network, CREW Network Foundation, CREW Charlotte, CREW St. Louis, the St. Louis Corporate Volunteer Council and the United Way of Greater St. Louis’ Volunteer Center. Ms. Bain is an active member of ULI and CREW and a sustaining member of the Junior League. She is also a co-founder and managing principal of B Squared Group, a privately held commercial real estate investment, development and management firm based in St. Louis, MO.

Along with multiple speaking engagements, she has received numerous local, regional and national awards for her contributions to the commercial real estate industry from such organizations and publications as the Real Estate Forum, GlobeSt., Connect Media, the Charlotte Business Journal, the Charlotte Ledger, The Mecklenburg Times, ATHENA, Business Today and Career Mastered.

She earned undergraduate degrees in Journalism and Human Environmental Sciences from the University of Missouri at Columbia and received a Master’s degree in business administration from Washington University in St. Louis. She currently resides in Cornelius, NC with her husband with whom she enjoys traveling abroad.
