CEO Jack Swoboda's career began humbly as an intern at a property management company, where he was entrusted with the task of tracking budgets and operational metrics within the company’s ERP system. He soon discovered that the company was shelling out a staggering $10,000 per month for software that had minimal functionality and felt like a relic from the 90s. To make matters worse, each property under their management was using a different system, compounding the inefficiency.

Jack later embarked on a new professional journey as an investment banking analyst in the M&A group at BMO Capital Markets. It was there that he met his soon-to-be co-founder, Ross Piermarini. Ross worked in the Leveraged Finance group, specifically focusing on BMO’s real estate clients. The duo quickly realized they had experienced similar problems as Ross complained to Jack about the constant headaches caused by tedious data aggregation and report creation for these RE companies.

Undeterred by these challenges, Jack and Ross joined forces with Artur Gaifutdinov, a seasoned software engineer from Avant, who shared their vision of enabling the financial analyst to actually analyze and improve operations vs waste time with manual data aggregation.
