John is the Founder and Managing Partner of Peak 15 Capital. A Private Equity firm specializing in equity and pref positions in value driven transactions in the commercial real estate space. It also operates an advisory platform to servicing commercial real estate operators and sponsors as well as funding through Peak 15 discretionary funds. John is also the Founder and Partner in Peak Titans, a high end executive network of globally connected community of executives, entrepreneurs and C level leaders meeting regularly to exchange ideas, motivations, deals and in-person adventure experiences. John was formerly a Managing Member of MACC Venture Partners, a Southeast focus owner/operator of multifamily assets who have syndicated and operated multifamily assets across the Southeast corridor. Previously he was a co-Founder and Managing Partner of Boston Venture Partners (BVP), a private equity consulting and finance firm based in Boston specializing in real estate development, and structured finance. John has worked on a cumulative portfolio of over $2 Billion spanning across the East Coast, Southeast and Sunbelt. His previous roles in equity, finance and banking provided an integral understanding of debt and equity markets as well as deal structure, honing his insights into the critical planning issues relevant to growing successful companies. John is a podcaster and Co-Host of his own podcast called Breaking Resistance as well as being a regular guest speaker in various commercial real estate conferences and Podcasts. John serves on the boards of directors of several non-profit and for-profit organizations including Gaston College Foundation, and previously The Charlotte Symphony Orchestra board.
