Kathryn Schmeltz is a co-founder of High Five Group, which is a real estate solutions company that focuses on acquisition and revitalization of distressed and value add multifamily investment property.

She has been an investor since 2013 in both single family and multifamily properties, primarily focusing on acquisition and revitalization of distressed properties. Kathryn has bought and sold over 100 houses and accumulated a portfolio of single-family income producing properties.

Since 2017, she changed her focus to buying apartment communities. As a co-founder of High Five Multifamily, she has partnered in 10 apartment communities totaling over 934 doors.

Kathryn has a fantastic track record. She has gone full cycle on multiple apartment communities, with an average investment return of 2.63X and 37% IRR!

Kathryn worked with Omni Assessment, a full-service due diligence company, that caters exclusively to multifamily real estate investors. Kathryn has evaluated 40+ multifamily properties with 5,000+ units. She has a strong understanding of due diligence and prepared due diligence reports to potential buyers. Kathryn has also helped manage multifamily construction renovations. She has managed over $6M in renovation to multifamily properties working with Omni Construction.

She started her real estate career in multifamily property management. After working directly alongside the owner of a large investment firm, she knew her passion for real estate was destiny and has never looked back.
