Melanie is a recognized expert in multifamily management, strategic planning, and executive leadership, with over 16 years of experience in senior executive roles at Cortland, AIMCO, and DLP Capital. As RR Living’s first CEO, she is focused on scaling operations, growing the business, and fostering top talent to enhance the living experience for over 30,000 residents.

Previously, Melanie served as Managing Principal & President at DLP Capital, overseeing 20,000+ units, asset management, construction, and marketing. During her nearly six years at Cortland, she expanded the management portfolio from 9,000 to 50,000 units and led billions in renovations. At AIMCO, she held executive roles for 13 years, managing 200,000+ apartments nationwide and leading organizational development.

An active Forbes® Council and Chief® Member, Melanie also serves on the Multifamily Innovation® Council and speaks at IMN, Bisnow®, and other industry events. A recognized speaker and presenter, she has shared her expertise at numerous conferences, known for her authentic and honest, humanizing approach to business growth, leadership, and talent development.

Her career began as a leasing consultant, where she developed her passion for creating true homes for residents—a principle that continues to define her leadership today.
