Michael Shaid is a Vice President at The Vistria Group in Real Estate. Prior to joining Vistria, Michael was an Associate on the Acquisitions & Investments team at L+M Fund Management, an affiliate of L+M Development Partners that invests in, acquires, and preserves workforce, affordable, and mixed-income multi-family housing across the country.

Prior to joining L+M Fund Management, Michael began his career in the Goldman Sachs Urban Investment Group (UIG). During Michael’s time on the team, he was responsible for a variety of real estate investments across all product types including equity, debt, and tax credits that generated both strong financial returns and demonstrable social outcomes.

Michael serves as co-chair of the New York Gotham Society Executive Committee of Enterprise Community Partners, a not-for-profit organization focused on creating affordable housing for low- income communities.

Michael graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a B.A. in Political Science and a minor in Urban Real Estate & Development.
