Nick first started at the University of North Texas where he obtained an undergraduate degree in Real Estate Finance. He began his career with Adara Communities in 2008 with a portfolio of 20,000 units valued at $3B, where his primary focus was distressed property takeovers and capital project repair oversight on properties across the United States. While directly overseeing two apartment communities, He transitioned into commercial real estate lending and asset management for Key Bank Real Estate Capital, servicing agency loans and a portfolio consisting of 150 apartment communities, valued at $23M. For a decade, Nick was the Director of Operations and Asset Management for Integra Peak Management, where he managed a substantial portfolio of multifamily properties throughout Texas. This portfolio of 2,000 units was heavily focused on affordable housing, particularly LIHTC, USDA, HUD, and senior housing. He was responsible for the financial and physical performance of all assets and completed a $5M renovation project across 35 sites. In his many Director roles, he has been responsible for creating and implementing and innovative team focused initiatives through many market ups and downs over the last twenty years. Nick is driven by his ability to build successful teams and execute complex, multifaceted projects.

In 2023, Nick and his partners created Gateway Property Group, LLC after seeing a need for quality, dependable management services throughout the DFW area and beyond. With the experience and the expertise of its team members, Gateway Property Group, LLC currently provides multifamily management services across four states to all asset classes. Gateway Property Group, LLC also offers the unique ability to manage CapEx and value add projects and renovations for clients with in-house construction services.

Now, with nearly 20 years of experience in all facets of the real estate and construction industry, he manages and invests both professionally and personally in both multifamily and single-family properties, giving him a diverse understanding of all aspects of the industry.
